South Philippine Adventist College took part in the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ACSCU) Mindanao Regional Assembly on March 17-18, 2025, at Southern Christian College, Midsayap, North Cotabato.
Representing SPAC were Dr. Chliejverwyn Catolico (College President), Dr. Lotchie Genon (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Mr. Irvin Mirabueno (Vice President for Student Affairs and Services), Ms. Alpha Duran (Vice President for Finance), and other key personnel.
The assembly brought together educators and school leaders from across Mindanao to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Christian education today. One of the key topics tackled was “Challenges with Recent Laws and Policies Affecting Education: How Do Christian Schools Respond?”, led by Atty. Ernesto B. Neri, a legal expert in education.
Sir Irvin Mirabueno was also among the speakers, sharing insights on student services and assessment alongside other education leaders.
Aside from the discussions and sessions, participants also had the chance to explore SCC’s Agro-Eco Farm, learning about sustainable agricultural practices.
SPAC continues to take part in meaningful conversations that strengthen Christian education and build connections with other faith-based institutions.
