South Philippine Adventist College once again turned compassion into action as students and employees gathered for the annual Bloodletting Activity on August 14, 2026, at the SPAC Gymnasium. Carrying the theme “Give Life, Share Hope,”the activity encouraged the SPAC community to take part in a simple yet meaningful act of service—voluntary blood donation.

In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, Digos Doctors Hospital, and Medical Center of Digos Cooperative (MCDC), the activity provided a safe and organized setting for donors. Medical teams assisted participants throughout the donation process, ensuring that proper health and safety procedures were observed.

The initiative was supported by the College Student Government, and the SPAC Church, whose collaboration helped encourage participation and promote awareness about the importance of blood donation.

By the end of the activity, 95 bags of blood were successfully collected, reflecting the generosity and willingness of the SPAC community to help others. Each donation represents more than a unit of blood—it carries the possibility of bringing hope to patients and families facing medical emergencies.

More than an annual campus activity, the bloodletting drive has become a continuing expression of SPAC’s commitment to service. As the college community comes together year after year, the initiative reminds students and employees that meaningful service can begin with something as simple as giving a part of oneself for someone in need.

Through this year’s Bloodletting Activity, SPAC once again lived out the message behind its theme: Give Life, Share Hope.
