South Philippine Adventist College proudly participated in the 4th Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS) National Research Training Conference held at Proxy by The Oriental Albay, Legazpi City. The event, hosted by Bicol University, gathered student affairs and services (SAS) practitioners from across the country to champion research-based strategies for inclusive and transformative campus environments.

With the theme "Champion for Change: Leveraging Research for SAS Practitioners," the conference aimed to empower SAS professionals from both public and private higher education institutions to innovate and advocate for student-centered practices through scholarly research.

Representing SPAC at the national event were Dr. Ranzolin G. Bayeta, Research Director, and Mr. Irvin N. Mirabueno, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services. They actively participated in the sessions and proudly presented their research study titled "The Strategic Role of Student Affairs and Services in Promoting Inclusion, Diversity, and Equality."

Their presentation highlighted how the SAS programs of selected colleges and universities in Davao Region are being aligned with national goals on inclusive education, diversity empowerment, and equal access to student services, underscoring the importance of institutional policies and responsive leadership in shaping holistic learning environments.

The conference served as a platform for scholarly exchange and strengthened the partnerships among SAS practitioners nationwide, reinforcing the commitment of institutions like SPAC to continually raise the standards of student affairs and services through research and innovation.
